Baby Bottle Cookies
I made these cookies for a coworkers baby shower a couple weeks ago and I was pleased with how they came out! Ironically, the first time I made sugar cookies with royal icing was for this same coworkers bridal shower. We have come full circle so to speak.
These cookies were easy to make. I made the cookies following the recipe linked below. Then for the icing I piped the milk and made a squiggly line for the top of the milk. Once it cooled I flooded it with the white. For the nipple of the bottle I piped and then flooded. If I had more time I would have added vertical lines at the base of the nipple to add some texture and lines, much like regular bottles.
Easy to make yet time consuming. Overall, a fun and relaxing cooking experience.
