Cooking Something New

About three years ago John and I were doing this:

But in a few short months we will now be doing this:

That's right! I'm pregnant, due in the first few days of December. I am now in my second trimester and am thrilled to be sharing my big news with you (as well as that picture of my niece who is the cutest bean alive!) 

It's been hard keeping up the blog when I come home exhausted and have no energy to cook, but everyone swears your energy returns in the second trimester so hopefully I'll be back to posting every other day soon! I promise to keep the focus on the food, but I did want to share my good news with you. John and I are thrilled to be starting this new journey together.
